How It Works
Each particle has position, heading, and constant velocity. Count neighbors within radius r to the left and right. Turn by alpha + beta * N * sign(R - L). Move forward by v. That single equation produces emergent cells with life cycles.
Applications
Artificial life research, emergent self-organization from minimal rules. Simpler than Boids yet produces cell membranes, mitosis, spore formation, and death.
